This notice explains the limited personal data involved when you visit Build Sovereign or contact us.

Controller

The controller is RIGHTTHING STUDIO LTD, registered in England and Wales (company number 17084795). See the legal notice for the registered office.

Web delivery and security logs

Public requests pass through Bunny CDN before reaching an EU VPS origin. Network services necessarily process request information such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, response status, referrer, and user-agent. This information may be retained in security and access logs for service reliability, abuse prevention, and incident investigation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Infrastructure providers process request data under their service terms. We keep logs only for as long as needed for those purposes.

Cookies

The current site does not set cookies or use browser storage for analytics. It therefore does not display a cookie-consent banner. If that changes, this notice and the consent mechanism will be reviewed before deployment.

Analytics

The site uses a self-hosted Umami instance on an EU VPS to produce aggregate pageview statistics. The tracker is served through same-origin paths, does not set cookies, honours Do Not Track, and excludes URL query strings. It processes page URL, referrer, device/browser information, and coarse location derived from network information. We do not use it for cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate readership and improving the publication (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You can prevent these events by enabling Do Not Track in your browser.

Fonts

Source Serif 4 and Inter are loaded from Bunny Fonts. Your browser therefore sends a separate request, including network information, to Bunny Fonts. No Google Fonts are used.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address, message, and related correspondence to reply and keep a record where necessary. The legal basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in managing correspondence. Email is retained only as long as needed for the conversation, legal obligations, or the defence of claims.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise a right, contact us via the legal notice. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

This notice is reviewed when the site’s providers, analytics, or reader features change.
